Current service note: VTregen's current missed-revenue recovery offer is manual-first and does not require Twilio, A2P approval, or automated SMS to begin. This SMS Messaging Policy applies only when a participating Client has enabled VTregen SMS automation.
1. Who Sends These Messages
VTregen is a missed-revenue recovery service operated by RMLZ LLC, a veteran-owned limited liability company based in Paramount, CA. When SMS automation is enabled, VTregen sends text messages on behalf of local service businesses ("Clients") who subscribe to that feature.
When you receive a text message from a VTregen-powered number, it is being sent on behalf of the local business you recently contacted — not from RMLZ LLC directly.
2. What This Program Does
VTregen enables local businesses to automatically send two types of SMS messages to their customers:
- Missed-call text-back: When a caller dials a business and the call goes unanswered, VTregen automatically sends a single SMS to the caller within 30 seconds acknowledging the missed call and providing the business's contact information.
- Google review requests: After a job or service appointment is marked complete by the business, VTregen sends the customer an SMS requesting a Google review. Up to two follow-up messages may be sent over 7 days if no response is received.
In plain terms: If you called a local business and got a text back, or if a service provider texted you asking for a review after completing a job — that text came through VTregen on behalf of the business you worked with.
3. Consent and Opt-In
VTregen's messaging program is built on the following consent model:
- Missed-call text-back: By placing a call to a VTregen-powered business, the caller initiates the contact. In direct response to that call — for example, when it goes unanswered — the business sends one (1) automated text reply so it can follow up. This is a single transactional / customer-care message that results directly from the caller's own action, and the caller can reply STOP at any time to opt out. No prior subscription is required because the caller started the conversation.
- Review requests: Customers who have had a completed service interaction with the business have a prior business relationship, and review request messages are sent as customer care follow-up communications. Businesses are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate consent from their customers before enabling this feature.
The exact consent notice consumers see — displayed wherever a participating business's phone number appears (the business's website, its Google Business Profile, and on-site signage):
"Call or text us at (XXX) XXX-XXXX. By calling or texting, you agree to receive SMS messages from [Business Name] (sent via VTregen / RMLZ LLC) regarding your inquiry or service. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See vtregen.com/privacy."
No marketing messages are sent. All messages are directly related to a specific interaction the recipient had with the business.
4. Message Frequency
Recipients may receive:
- 1 message per missed call (the text-back)
- Up to 3 messages per completed service job (initial review request + up to 2 follow-ups over 7 days)
Message frequency varies based on how often you contact or use the services of a VTregen-powered business.
5. How to Stop Messages
You can stop receiving messages from a VTregen-powered business at any time:
- Reply STOP (English) or ALTO (Spanish) to any message to immediately opt out. No further messages will be sent from that business's number.
- Reply START to re-subscribe if you later wish to receive messages again.
- Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us directly at [email protected].
Opt-out requests are processed immediately and permanently for that phone number and business account combination.
6. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier plan. VTregen does not charge recipients for messages. Contact your wireless carrier if you have questions about your plan's messaging rates.
7. Supported Carriers
VTregen messages are delivered via Twilio's A2P 10DLC registered messaging infrastructure, which supports all major US wireless carriers. Carrier support is not guaranteed for all carriers or plans.
8. Privacy and Data Use
Your phone number and message content are used solely to deliver the SMS communications described above. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number for marketing purposes. For full details on how your data is collected and protected, see our Privacy Policy.
